As lifelong dog owners, our pets have always been part of the family. We wanted our dogs close to us — in the living room, beside the couch, next to the bed — not hidden away in a garage or pushed into a corner because their crate looked cold, industrial, or out of place in our home.
Like many families, we tried traditional wire crates and furniture-style alternatives, but we continually ran into the same frustrations: they were unattractive, often poorly built, and didn't feel like real furniture. Some even raised safety concerns for us with exposed wire construction and pinch points. We knew there had to be a better solution.
So we decided to build one ourselves.
An Obsession with Getting It Right
What started as a personal project quickly turned into an obsession with creating a crate that truly belonged inside a beautiful home — something that felt like premium furniture first, while still being incredibly functional and comfortable for the dogs we love.
The design process took years and more than ten different prototypes before we landed on the final product we proudly use in our own home every day. Our dogs sleep in these crates nightly on premium orthopedic memory foam beds, while our kids climb on them, play around them, and use them like any other piece of furniture in the house. Durability was never optional. Each crate is built to be exceptionally solid and heavy-duty, capable of supporting over 500 pounds.
Handcrafted in Our Amish Community
Every Noble Pet crate is thoughtfully designed by our family and handcrafted locally within our Amish community here in the USA. This is not mass production or imported flat-pack furniture. Multiple skilled craftsmen and specialized shops work together on every crate — from custom plywood bending and CNC routing to aluminum fabrication, engraving, staining, and finishing. Every detail is handled with care by people who take pride in true craftsmanship.
We intentionally chose premium real wood construction instead of MDF or lower-grade materials because we wanted these crates to feel substantial, beautiful, and built to last for years inside a well-designed home.
